Children’s Bar/Bat Mitzvah program
This program, which prepares a boy/girl to become a bar/bat mitzvah, requires a two year commitment. During the two years of study the bar/bat mitzvah student will study Creation; G-d’s Appointed Times; Jewish History; Yeshua’s life, ministry, and Jewishness; and what it means to be a bar/bat mitzvah. For one semester of history, the student will choose to study either the history of the B’nei Anusim (Sephardic Jews) or the history of the modern state of Israel. The student will study Biblical Hebrew for the entire two years. The student will study his parashah (portion of Scripture canted in synagogues on the day he was born), will learn to cant a part of that parashah, and prepare a drash from that parashah. During this time, the student will also choose and complete a bar/bat mitzvah project aimed to benefit someone else. Preferably a boy will enter the program two years before his 13th birthday, and a girl, two or three years before her 12th birthday. But any child may enter the program at age 16 or under.
Adult B’nei Mitzvah program

The student must have successfully completed the Hebrew classes through Torah Cantillation. The student will study his parashah (portion of Scripture canted in synagogues on the day he was born) and will learn to cant a part of that parashah.
